Baxter Stewart

I was born and raised in Uptown, New Orleans. Well ok, I was delivered at Lakeside Hospital, so technically I was born in Metairie (my wife, who is from Metry, loves to point that out). I graduated from Jesuit High in ’97 and got my degree in Cultural Studies and Spanish from UNO in ’02. After working in the film business, waiting tables at numerous New Orleans dining establishments, and teaching 3rd grade at A.P. Tureaud Elementary, I began my real estate career in 2006. Since then I’ve been representing buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords in all types of real estate transactions whether residential or commercial, lease or sale, all across the greater New Orleans area. In addition to sales and leases, I also manage properties and am a landlord myself.

I’m currently a proud resident of Broadmoor where I’ve lived since ‘06 with my wife, daughter, and beagle. While not working in real estate, I enjoy landscaping my yard and working on my vegetable garden, fishing for specks and reds in the Hopedale marshes, daydreaming about the Saints winning another Superbowl and inventing new recipes in my kitchen.
