Kirk Williamson



A native Louisianian from Monroe, Lieutenant Commander Kirk Williamson attended the George Washington University in Washington D.C. obtaining a B.A in International Relations. After graduation, Kirk joined the United States Navy where he has deployed twice overseas to help prosecute the Global War on Terror. He received numerous awards and commendations during his deployments for meritorious and honorable service. Kirk holds a M.A. in Diplomacy and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations. While he loves to travel and study the world, New Orleans will always be his home.

Kirk received formal training in Building Science through the nationally accredited Building Performance Institute (BPI). Kirk was a former, certified home energy auditor and envelope/shell professional. He is knowledgeable on most all topics concerning energy-efficient, residential construction. He also broke the Guinness World record for the World’s Longest Handshake 2008.
